Abstract:
A zoomar system is proposed where the residual wave aberration is compensated by means of a flexible bimorph mirror, which dramatically simplifies the optical system. The experimental results obtained are reported. In particular, photographs of the focal spot formed by the zoomar before and after correction are presented.
