Abstract:

A new method for the construction of the linear regression accounting for the experimental errors involved in the atmospheric aerosol mass concentration and volume scattering coefficient measured by a single-frequency lidar system is reported. The application of the proposed approach to the monitoring of air pollution is discussed.
