Abstract:

Monte-Carlo technique has been used to get the solution of radiative transport equation for the spherical atmosphere. Analysis of this solution is presented. Dependence of brightness distribution on atmospheric model is studied and multiple scattering contribution is estimated. It is obtained the range of solar zenith angles, within which the solution may be reversed. Some causes which may possibly lead to Umkehr-effect in the UV spectral region of ozone absorption are determined.
