Abstract:
We discuss the results of statistical analysis of temporal structure of temperature, specific humidity, and zonal and meridional wind fields using data of observations at Warsaw and Novosibirsk sites for atmospheric boundary layer. In addition to analysis of temporal correlation functions of temperature, specific humidity, and zonal and meridional wind, we examine their approximations for time lags t = 1, 2, ..., 5 days using analytical expressions derived.
