Abstract:

Numerical model of turbulent interaction between surface air and top water layer accounting for roughness is applied to calculation of tangential stresses on the interface and film thermal conditions with the account for light fraction evaporation. The wind wave field is described in terms of spectral density of wave energy. The emphasis was placed on the detailed consideration of the vertical mass and energy transfer between airflow, viscous film, and water. An example is presented on model calculation of stream parameters at diurnal variation of solar radiation.
