Abstract:

An algorithm for image restoration in a spatial domain based on the representation of atmospheric point spread function as a noncausal 4-quadrant recursive filter is presented. The algorithm allows one to calculate the coefficient of a spatial nonrecursive restoring filter. The restoration operation is provided through convolution of an image and a smalldimensioned filter-coefficients mask.
