Abstract:

The efficiency of airborne lidar systems can be essentially improved if the methods of reconstructive tomography are used for data processing. A scheme of tomographic sounding is suggested in the paper and the algorithm of lidar data interpretation based on the use of methods of computational tomography is discussed. Some questions on the algorithm stability relative to the errors in the initial data are also discussed. The results of model simulations are presented.
