Abstract:

High-transmission three-and four-objective multipass matrix systems are described in the paper for high resolution spectroscopy applications, which provide extremely long optical path for absorption. In these systems the images are formed on the field mirrors in the form of compact matrices with the adjustable number of lines and columns. The number of passes can achieve 500 with the high reflectance mirrors. Such matrix systems have very high optical quality and performance characteristics, being at the same time very simple in construction. These systems can also be used as delay lines for optical signals in laser technology. The matrix systems are new generation of the multipass systems.
