Abstract:

The variation of troposphere ozone concentration was investigated from data of aircraft sensing. Three ozone-meters used: chemiluminescence 3-02P and two UV Model-49ะก Thermo Environment Inc. (USA). The following kinds of clouds Cu, Cu med., St, Sc, As, Ac have been under study. The cloud layers have on the average 1.5 km and changed from 0.4 up to 4.5 km. The ozone destruction in clouds was on the average 11-15 ppb and changed from 3 to 34 ppb. Depending on the type of clouds the destruction changed almost by 2 times. The estimation of an annual drain of ozone in clouds has shown, that its size is close to annual balance of the troposphere ozone.
