Abstract:

The faint optical signals processing algorithm in lidar measurements under intensive background noise conditions is described. The algorithm means the transformation of the flow, formed in photodetector's photocathode of Poisson photoelectron distribution, to the flow of sub-Poisson photon statistics using it's stochastic-deterministic "vacuum". The detection efficiency estimation of the proposed algorithm is performed.
