Abstract:

In 2007, the microclimate studies of the soil temperature regime of key areas of Tunkinskaya bolson (the Republic of Buryatia) were started. The choice of key areas was made, taking into account the characteristics of relief and altitudinal belts of intermountain bolsons. The series of the Landsat space images were used for extrapolation of data of point observations and for reconstruction of the temperature field of the land surface. Linear correlation coefficient between calculated temperatures of the land surface and temperatures of the soil for each time moment is more than 0.9.
