Abstract:

Problems of environmental risk assessment of impact on vegetation caused by point sources of chemical air pollution are considered. The risk assessment is based on using criterion of environmental emergency situation with accounting for sensitivity of different vegetative ecosystems to air pollution and peculiarities of the vegetation cover spatial structure, which is determined on the base of space images. Mapping of environmental risk zone is illustrated by gas burning impact on vegetation cover at the territory of Priobskoye oil field in West Siberia.
