Abstract:

Optical equipment and methods for operational and comprehensive monitoring of coastal waters are analyzed. The possibility of using shore-based optical systems for mapping and estimating the dynamic characteristics of sea surface pollution is shown. The possibility of near-surface wind velocity evaluation by temporal sequence of panoramic images processing is demonstrated. In addition, the video system can be used for real time direction with the help of mobile Internet of research vessels to coastal zone for studing hydrologic objects of interest (vortices, internal waves, sea surface pollution, etc.).
