Abstract:

The results of upper atmosphere sounding, in comparison with the results of ionosphere observations, carried out simultaneously over Kamchatka, are presented. The correlation of lidar signals and parameters determining density of plasma in night F2 layer of ionosphere is investigated. The possible role of ridberg atoms in forming phenomena is discussed.
