Abstract:

Propagation of hiper-Gaussian and hiper-tubular light beams through a subsonic gas flow is analised in the paper on basis of numerical simulations. It is shown that the profiled beams undergo weaker nonlinear distortions, since nonmonotonic behavior of the medium motion direction takes place. Differences in the characters of propagation of two-dimensional and slit-like beams are discussed.
