Abstract:

Based on the use of the RATCF model which enables one to account for the dependence of the absorbing molecular translational velocity on the rotational quantum number J , we have calculated the shifts of the absorption line centers in the vibrational band 0–2 for the molecular media CO-CO, CO–N2 , NO–NO , and NO-N2 . A comparison made between the calculated and experimental values showed good agreement.
