Abstract:

Some results obtained in the course of the integrated scientific project "Compilation of an Information Database of the Shift and Broadening Coefficients for Absorption Lines of the H2O Molecule in the Visible and IR Regions" are presented. Experimental instrumentation and calculational techniques employed for obtaining quantitative data on the shift and broadening coefficients for rovibrational absorption lines of the H2O molecule in mixtures with N2, O2, air, and some other gases are described. A systematic comparison of experimental and calculational data involved into the database is carried out.
