Abstract:

In this paper we analyze the effect of preferred orientation of axisymmetric elongated particles (AEP) to the horizontal plane on the light scattering phase matrix (LSPM). It has been shown that analysis of the relationships between the elements of the LSPM provides for determining the angle and the degree of preferred orientation of the AEP.
