Abstract:

It is shown, that the optimal spectral sensitivity zone of the earth-surface remote sensing system in the UV-range in terms of maximum image SNR criterion is determined in general by the back-scattering noise value and by its spectral distribution, and is about 35 nm under normal observation conditions.
