Abstract:

Results of experimental investigations into the development of small-sized and miniature transverse- and longitudinal-excitation N2 lasers with various UV preionization types are presented. An analysis of basic research works on N2 lasers has opened up fresh opportunities for the increase of their lasing efficiency.
