Abstract:
The method and results of calibration of the transmitting/receiving system of an acoustic meteorological radar (sodar) are discussed. The calibration is intended for measurement of the absolute value of the temperature structure characteristic С2T. Examples of С2T measured under conditions of stable and unstable stratification of the atmospheric boundary layer are presented.
