The absorption spectrum of water vapor in the region of 9387-9450 cm-1 is studied at a temperature of 800 K using an intracavity Nd-laser spectrometer. The high-temperature water vapor spectrum contains more than 150 absorption lines, 54% of which are assigned to 8 vibrational bands: 3n2 + n3, 2n1 + n2, n1 + n2 + n3, n2 + 2n3, 2n1 + n3, 3n3 - n2, n1 + 2n2 + n3 - n2, n1 + 2n3 - n2, 2n1 + n3 - n2.
