Abstract:
The history and the state of the art of the laser spectroscopy methods, developed at the Institute of Atmospheric Optics SB RAS, are reviewed. The worked out fundamentals of the following instruments are considered: laser spectrophotometers, intracavity and opto-acoustic laser spectrometers of high sensitivity and high spectral resolution, as well as the application of the devices to spectroscopy of molecules and the atmosphere are illustrated.
