The problem of profile reconstruction of the structure characteristic of refractive index from plane wave intensity fluctuations is considered. In case of weak intensity fluctuations, relations between variance of spectrum density of optical wave intensity at the receiving plane and the path integral of the structure characteristic of the refractive index are derived. Based on these relations the algorithm of turbulence profiling is developed and the space resolution of reconstructed profiles is estimated. Presented results of the numerical experiments show the correctness of the proposed algorithm.
