Abstract:

We consider one of the aspects of the technique to solve the inverse problem on reconstructing temperature and composition of the atmosphere from the data of remote sensing from satellites and observations with ground-based instruments. The models of observations, radiation transfer in problems of optical sensing of the atmosphere, models of thermodynamics and transfer of substance in the atmosphere make up the set of necessary tools, the technique is based on. The critical points in formulating inverse problems, system organization of numerical algorithms, and the ways of their practical use are also discussed in this paper.
