Abstract:

For microwave radiation in the wavelength range l = 1-10 cm, the possibility of creating a non-stationary waveguide channel from conducting nanoparticles is shown at the concentration of nanoparticles in air equal to 1 g/m3. The estimates show that 1-10 kg of nanoparticles is enough for creation of a channel with the length of 100 m. The power range of the transmitted radiation depends on how ellipsoidal are the particles. For strongly prolate nanoparticles, ignition of the wave channel under certain conditions is possible.
