Abstract:

Gerchberg-Saxton algorithm and hill-climbing algorithm with constant and variable step are applied to the problem of the given intensity distributions formation. The effectiveness of the algorithms is investigated. Hybrid approaches that combine Gerchberg-Saxton and hill-climbing algorithms have been shown to improve beam-shaping accuracy significantly.
