Abstract:

The paper presents the results of experimental studies of signals of laser illumination scattered from a water droplet medium of different dispersed composition at a wavelength of 0.49 μm under conditions of explosive evaporation of particles upon exposure to the CO2–laser pulse. The dependence of the amplitude of scattered signals on the energy density in the heating beam and aerosol microstructure has been established.
