Abstract:

Autocorrelation function of fluctuations of a narrow diverging laser beam (λ = 0.6328 mm), propagating through snowfalls has been studied at six propagation paths with lengths from 130 to 1928 m. It was found from these studies that the correlation time increases with increase of the receiver diameter and size of particles.
