A systematic observations of wind velocity profiles in the lower atmosphere have been carried out during the summerfall period of 1991. Wind velocity measurements were performed remotely with a lidar based on correlation technique up to 1.5—2 km height. It is shown that wind velocity was not very high (less than 10 m/s) during the «SATOR-91» experiments and only slightly varied with height, with dominating southwest direction.
