Some results of the experimental study of the influence of a discharge circuitry parameters, composition and pressure of the active medium mixture on the duration of XeCl laser generation pulse ( λ= 308 nm) are presented. Pulses of full duration ~500 ns and energy Q~0,35 J and τ~300 ns and Q~0,6 J have been obtained with a modified LIDA-T laser.
