Abstract:

The aerosol inhomogeneity correlation functions are shown to be practically insensitive to the laser wavelength used and dependent on the stability of atmospheric stratification. In particular, for the unstable atmosphere, high-frequency fluctuations are found to occur, while, in the case of the stable stratification, low-frequency fluctuations with a spatial scale up to several kilometers are observed.
