Abstract:
The results of physical and numerical experiments in the problem of water drops destruction by laser pulses are presented. Quantitative connections between basic factors of destruction (time of explosion, degree of evaporation and crushing) and the parameter of pumping rate of absorbed light energy into a particle have been determined.
