Abstract:

The feasibility of the collective optical discharge in the visible and near infrared regions under the lowest intensities and contents is discussed. A threshold model for the optimized collective optical discharge is proposed. The phenomenological model parameters are estimated using the available experimental data and numerical simulation results for power densities of 105-107 W/cm2.
