Lidar method of light extinction and scattering coefficient profile determination in cirrus clouds is considered. For method realization required are measurements of back scattered light signal profile and cloud transmission coefficient. Transmission coefficient is defined by ratio of Raman signals from atmospheric nitrogen higher and lower a cloud. Profile determination algorithm and the results of the computations are discussed.
