Abstract:

Researches of statistical characteristics of a phase fluctuation of optical radiation with the conic wave front propagating in turbulent atmosphere are developed. The method of smooth perturbations calculates a variance for a phase fluctuations of the conic optical waves formed by conical axicon and conoidal axicon. It is discovered, that a variance for a phase fluctuations of a conic optical wave in turbulent atmosphere is less than the same characteristic of a plane wave, and also a fundamental Bessel beam. The dependence of a variance for a phase fluctuations on the parameter, characterizing conic wave front of an optical wave, has two-scale character, both for conical axicon, and for conoidal axicon. The decrease of a variance for a phase fluctuations in turbulent atmosphere is more for conical axicon, than for conoidal axicon. Spatial heterogeneity of a phase fluctuations, known for a fundamental Bessel beam, takes place for conic optical waves as well, however, quantitative effect in this case is another.
