Development of terawatt hybrid laser (THL-100) system on the base of Ti : sapphire starting complex of "Start-480" and photochemical XeF(C-A) amplifier with an aperture of 25 cm is presented. The complex produces the laser beam with a pulse duration of 50 fs and energy at the second harmonic (475 nm) up to 5 mJ. Active medium of XeF(С-А) amplifier is produced in the mixture of XeF2/N2 by radiation of Xe excimer molecules pumped by an electron beam. Development of coherent program for simulation of amplifier parameters is presented. The first results of numerical modeling and experiments of amplification of femtosecond pulse of radiation with different pulse durations are shown. In the first experiments 1 J output energy with 1 ps pulse duration was demonstrated.
