Abstract:

No less than seven different kinds of clouds and fogs of anthropogenic origin are known. They change the radiative regime and thermohygrometric characteristics of the near surface air and optical properties of the atmosphere. This paper deals with the analysis of conditions of their formation and the results of numerical, laboratory, and field experiments. Field experiments were carried out using helicopters and ships. It is shown that the conditions of development of anthropogenic and artificial clouds and fogs are similar. They are changeable.
