Abstract:

The description of the results of polarization measurements against the twilight background in Crimean Laboratory of Sternberg Astronomical Institute, Moscow State University, is presented. The main regularities of the behavior of the twilight sky background in zenith are considered in dependence of sun rising beyond the horizon at wavelength of 513-525 nm, as well as influence of aerosol at different layers of the atmosphere on the dependences is described. The effects of increased scattering of stratospheric aerosol in December, 2006 and January, 2008 are considered in detail.
