Abstract:

In this paper, the dependence of the neon emission spectrum (the dynamic Stark effect and transition probabilities) on the frequency and strength of the electric field generated in a high-frequency discharge and at laser excitation was theoretically investigated. The obtained results allowed us to reveal the number of regularities in the behavior of studied characteristics and explain the reasons for an appearance of anomalies in the neon emission spectrum in external electric fields.
