A description of a multiwavelength (14 spectral channels) solar photometer for studying the atmospheric thickness in the spectral range from 0.4 to 12 mm onboard a ship is presented. In addition to two measurement channels there are an automated sun-tracker and a TV control system in the photometer. The system functioning control and recording of signals in a digital form can be carried out from a control desk or from a minicomputer.
