Abstract:

The calculation results for terahertz radiation spectra of the molecules of importance for atmospheric optics (methane and it's isotopic species), diagnostic of hydrogen plasma, and astrophysics (He3H+, Н3+, and deuterosubstituted modification) are presented. The principal aspects of the spectra theory for long-chain carbon molecules of HC2n+1N type are studied in excited vibronic states. These compounds are important in technology of polymer super strong materials on the base of nanofibers. The possibilities of THz radiation generation in semirigid molecules with the use of optically pumped gas lasers are discussed. The spectra energy and the line intensities are investigated in the framework of the theory of forbidden rovibronic transitions in molecules.
