Abstract:

The paper presents the results of 13-year long investigations (1998-2010) of aerosol condensation activity in Tomsk. In the long-term behavior of the parameter of condensation activity, along with annual cycle and its second harmonics, the tendency is observed of slower oscillations ~6-7 years. Maximum values were observed in 1998-1999 and 2005-2007. Minimum annual mean values were realized in 2003 and 2008, i.e., the years when intrusions of subtropical air masses from arid regions of Kazakhstan and Middle Asia were more often.
